"After initial travel problems via train we arrived feeling a little nervous and exhausted. This was quickly forgotten with the warm and helpful welcome we received from Fabienne, and settling in was very easy. The Gite itself is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped, and serves as an excellent base to explore beautiful Saumur and its surroundings whether on foot or by car, and is a 5 minute walk from the town centre. The terrace is worthy of mention, pretty, private and just a relaxing place to spend any amount of your time. We have nothing but happy memories of our stay there, and are both missing it already!"

"Excellent location, pleasant stroll to centre of Saumur. Loire at end of the street. Convenient street parking or garage. Well equipped, clean, tastefully decorated. Small cottage, ideal for couples. Helpful and informative owner.
Spiral staircase to bedroom and bathroom could be an issue for some."

"Le fenet was the perfect base for our tour of the Loire Valley.
A quiet location, restaurants, shops and Saumur centre just a wander away. A garage for our car and street parking outside the door. A terrace to relax in peace and tranquility. We really want to return to visit the Loire Valley and Le fenet in Saumur will be our base once again. This place is so well situated between angers and Tours in the heart of the Valley."

"Le Rosaire has many great attributes. The location is marvellous, tranquil and a few steps down a small and quiet street to the beautiful Loire River, while the centre of Saumur is a five minute walk in another direction. The gite itself is roomy, very light and comfortable with a small terrace, and exceptionally clean and tidy. The owner has thought of everything.The kitchen is well equipped (no going down to the local supermarket to buy something you use everyday at home because it is there). Small touches but important like instruction books for everything, a folder filled with information about the region, and what to do with the rubbish. Many more small touches as above made our stay very enjoyable and comfortable - a home away from home, and we would definitely return."
